I don't seem to be very good at Blogging! You can though read my Twitter for short blogs!!!!

Chris Moyles of BBC's Radio One speaking about a church service on Pentecost Sunday:

Chris said what he saw was the most fascinating things he had seen in a long time... he has been to gigs with less atmosphere!!!

There are loads of these types of churches around - the media may speak of church decline, but churches that are real, alive, relevant are growing and impacting communities... If you are in the Halifax area check out www.alm.org.uk - the church we attend on a Sunday!

Saw a great article in Elim's Direction magazine by Simon Jarvis - some quotes:

"We want to show that the local church can truly impact the world"

"If we build people God will build the church."

"If we build the people the church will grow. I don't feel God is too worried about the model, he's more worried about acts of obedience"

"Ever since time began God has been interested in the individual. I don't think there's anything that brings a smile to the face of God more than when a person recognises who they are, what gift they should operate in and to see it flourish"

Food for thought - let's build great people and let God sort out the building of great churches...

Hello - hopefully this will become a blog of thoughts, comments, spiritual sound-bites, etc to equip, encourage, challenge, provoke thoughts, etc.... Keep returning for updates!!!
